Lindsey and I met sometime in college as sorority sisters. I don’t remember the exact occasion but that’s not because of bad memory, it’s because Lindsey is one of those special people that from the moment you meet her, she makes you feel like you’ve been best friends your whole life. She is kind, she lifts people up, and she loves everyone around her with her entire heart. It’s no wonder that from the moment Brandon met her at Purdue, he knew she was special.

These two have adventured to San Francisco and back to Chicago to follow their hearts and be near loved ones. And on their wedding day, it was apparent just how much Lindsey and Brandon ADORE their people. From their whopping 21 person bridal party, to family who traveled wide and far to be there to witness their love, it’s crystal clear how special these two are.

I LOVED THIS DAY SO MUCH but my favorite moments came during toasts. Hearing Lindsey and Brandon’s closest friends and family tell their love story had me a puddly mess behind my lens. One line that stuck out to me most was spoken by the sweet maid of honor Amber. She told Lindsey “I am who I am, because of our friendship.” That’s exactly the kind of person Lindsey is – she brings out the best in you just by being in her light. Their adorable 3 legged dog Bullet was of course mentioned too; Lindsey rescued him after seeing his story submitted to the news station she works for. Like I said, the girl has a heart of gold!

Photographing this wedding was a total dream come true from start to finish! I felt like an extra bridesmaid with a camera and had a blast celebrating all day long. Lindsey and Brandon, you are SO LOVED (duh)!!!
