Back in July, I was honored to partner with some of the most talented Chicago area vendors at gorgeous new venue Providence Vineyard to create magic for two beautiful souls, Ammie and Shakur. The theme of this romantic elopement was Organic Citrus. Vendors dreamed up a late summer soiree, complete hints of texture like velvet bridesmaid dresses and antique rugs. We of course incorporated lots and lots (AND LOTS) of florals! Klaudia from Florist & Hound Design made unique centerpieces and bouquets featuring real fruit, and Julie Michelle Cakes decorated an entire cake in citrus-toned blooms just for the occasion.
Ammie and Shakur exchanged tearful vows in the bright and airy space, then headed out for an intimate golden hour among Providence Vineyard’s 30 acres of vines. My favorite part of the day was watching them twirl around the vineyard, giggling and soaking in their love! Ammie explained that when she thinks about her relationship with Shakur, the first thing that comes to her mind is ‘easy’. She appreciated that the day was intimate and simple, with lots of delicate details and beautiful moments. Ammie and Shakur already can’t wait to celebrate their marriage in an even grander way with loved ones in the future.
