Love at first sight is real, and Ashlyn and Connor’s story is proof.

These two met while waiting in line to pay parking citations, of all things! They didn’t exchange more than a few words that day, but both were students at Georgia Southern and kept crossing paths. Finally they decided to get to know one another better, and the two hit it off! Connor officially asked Ashlyn to be his girlfriend by giving her a disposable camera and asking her to develop the film. She was surprised and touched when the pictures spelled out “will you be my girlfriend?”

Years passed, and Connor couldn’t wait any longer to propose to his college sweetheart! He got inspiration from that fateful day when they met at the Parking and Transportation office, and knew that was the perfect place to ask Ashlyn to be his wife. His friends and the staff were eager and excited to help him plan the perfect surprise. He faked another parking ticket, and brought Ashlyn with him into the Parking and Transportation office. To her surprise, it was covered in rose petals and photographs of the two of them! Connor gave a sweet speech and Ashlyn of course said YES. 

I absolutely adore these two and had the most wonderful time photographing their engagement session at Tybee Island!! The session mimicked their favorite type of date, a laidback picnic with wine, and walk on the beach at sunset. Enjoy some of my favorites of Ashlyn and Connor below!!
