Alexis first met James when he opened the door for her at a church meeting. James noticed Alexis over a year later, when he saw her wearing a festive red dress serving as a reader at Christmas Eve mass. He came up with a reason to talk to Alexis and was surprised when she remembered everything about him from the first time they met over a year before!

Alexis’ best friend and one of her bridesmaids stalked James on Facebook to find out they shared the same birthday of August 1st. Alexis’ grandmother in heaven has that same birthday, so Alexis thought her grandmother could be playing matchmaker from above! She was right, and knew James would be her husband after just the first date!! They fell in love quickly and the rest is history!

Alexis and James’ favorite date spot Sarasota FL. They love visiting from Tampa for fun activities like mini golf, the aquarium, and of course the beach!! We incorporated a few of these activities into their engagement session. Alexis and James fed flamingos at the Jungle Gardens, explored the beautiful Ringling grounds, and dipped their toes in the ocean at Lido Beach. It was truly the perfect day, and I can’t wait to see them again for their beautiful wedding later this year!!
