Hello hello, friends!! Boy do I have a LOT of pretty to share with you today! I had the pleasure of photographing Jessy + Jack’s woodsy wedding at The Bluffs at Connor Prairie back in September and loved every single minute of it.
Jessy explained that when she was planning the day, she envisioned something low-fuss and laidback, but still sophisticated. Her biggest focus was on delicious food and drinks for her guests (and for herself let’s be honest!! Brides gotta eat!)
These two incorporated copper + mauve tones into the greens and earthy textures of their venue. They chose many thoughtful details to make guests feel welcome + safe during COVID times. There was plenty of outdoor space with seating areas and fun activities to enjoy. Jessy shared the BEST advice for future brides + grooms going through wedding planning… she suggested picking and choosing which of the small details to spend your budget on – think of what your guests may appreciate, and forget the rest. It’ll save a lot of money and a big headache!!
All the details and decor aside, Jessy + Jack were the real reason I’d been looking forward to this wedding for so long. They are so kind, so loving + so perfect together. From the moment I saw these two interact at their engagement session over a year ago, I couldn’t wait for their wedding to come!!! Enjoy some of my many favorites of their day below!
