What can I say… coastal destination weddings have my heart, and it doesn’t get any dreamier than the historic Oldfield River House in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Waterfront views and majestic live works were the perfect backdrop for Taylor + Tom’s intimate celebration.

Taylor + Tom’s Oldfield Wedding

Shortly after they met, Mike asked Kim on a date. They got frozen yogurt and walked her dog Lainey, and of course quickly fell in love!! In March 2020, Mike got down on one knee and proposed on a beautiful walk by Lake Michigan. It was unexpected and the happiest day!

Kim and Mike’s wedding vision was fairly simple – they dreamed of celebrating with those nearest and dearest to them. They wanted to look back and remember quality time with their favorite people, instead of going through the motions of a typical large wedding. For that reason, they decided to keep things small with 40 guests. This list included their two grandmas (100 and 95), and even their sweet pup made the trip!

Kim and Mike’s Charleston Wedding

Anyone who’s visited Charleston, or seen photos of the city, knows that it’s full of charm. There are endless gorgeous photo spots, making it one of my all-time favorite places to work!! From the dreamy Spanish Moss to the pastel colored buildings and lush blooms, it’s the most perfect combination. Pair that with a sweet couple like Haley Jane + Stephen, and you get pure magic!!
